You will be required to operate and maintain our 25t Franna along with other plant and equipment to fulfil our strong future projects backlog. You will bring to our organisation a very unique set of skills associated with Marine Construction and the ability to take charge and problem solve when the need arises.
This position offers a 4-day, 38 hr work week Monday to Thursday with the possibility of overtime on a Friday!
Main responsibilities...
* Operate and maintain our 25t Franna
* Operate & maintain other plant / machinery such as 5t & 13.5t Excavators, Manitou and various utes and trucks specifically relating to marine civil works within strict workplace health and safety guidelines
* Installation of marine piles, jetties, boat ramps, concrete footings and other marine foreshore works predominately in SEQ and from time to time further afield including interstate
* Additionally, general marine construction labour work to include but not limited to assisting with all aspects of the manufacture and installation process of marine berthing infrastructure (pontoons, jetties boardwalks, marinas etc)
You MUST have...
* C6 crane ticket
* The ability to perform Pre-Starts on machinery & be mechanical minded for minor repairs
* Current Drivers Licence
* Enthusiasm, experience, and confidence.
* First-rate communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at varying levels.
It would also be very beneficial but NOT a deal breaker if you have or don't have...
* Current excavator ticket and be proficient in operating excavators
* HC | HR Truck licence advantageous
* Coxswain ticket or QLD Boat License
PLEASE NOTE: This position is not a full-time crane operator role, meaning you will not be working in the crane all day, every day. When you are not doing these roles, you will be working as part of our labouring team doing general labouring work which could include but not be limited to pontoon manufacturing, civil work and pontoon installations.
