About the Role

CS Energy is seeking a Project Scheduler who ensures that every milestone, deadline, and deliverable aligns perfectly to power Queensland’s energy future. As part of the capital project portfolio, you will develop, maintain, and monitor detailed schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases, supporting protected and efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain accurate project schedules for multiple capital projects.
- Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and distribute regular schedule performance reports and look‑ahead plans.
- Integrate inputs from project teams, contractors, and site operations into a unified master schedule.
- Provide clear, data‑driven schedule insights to support governance processes.
- Conduct schedule risk analysis and scenario modelling to support contingency planning.
- Drive consistency and improvement in planning tools, templates, and processes across CS Energy’s delivery portfolio.

About You

You’re a natural planner who thrives on structure and accuracy, with strong analytical and communication skills that turn complex project data into clear insights. You bring:

- Formal training or certification in Project Scheduling, Project Controls, or Planning.
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in scheduling or project controls within energy, utilities, mining, infrastructure or similar capital‑intensive sectors.
- Hands‑on experience using scheduling software for schedule development and progress tracking.
- Solid understanding of critical path method (CPM), earned value management (EVM), and schedule risk analysis.
- Experience collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks, analysing scenarios, and improving systems and processes.

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline are desirable, as are certifications such as PRINCE2, PMI‑PMP, or AIPM.
