Job Description
An Assembler I at Lennox AES in Wheeling, WV plays a crucial role in our production process by preparing components and assembling parts to create finished products. They follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to ensure accurate and efficient product creation. They will be responsible for painting, finishing, and/or insulating products.
Responsibilities:
* Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to assemble components or products.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks.
* Inspect and verify the quality of assembled products to ensure they meet specified standards.
* Identify and report any defects or issues with components or finished products.
* Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
* BASIC knowledge of hand and power tools required.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions required.
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work required.
* BASIC understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment required.
Abilities Required
* Ability to stand for extended periods.
* Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
* Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
* Able to learn how to operate basic machinery (ex. Waterjet).
* Able to paint and work with insulation.
