About the role
Mannum Slipway and Moorings is seeking an experienced Maintenance Builder to join our team in Mannum, SA on a full-time basis. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and construction services to our diverse private and commercial clients at our Marina.
What you'll be doing
* Performing general maintenance and repair work on client vessels, including minor plumbing, welding, carpentry and painting tasks
* Troubleshooting and resolving a variety of maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
* Providing services such as pressure washing, hull repair, general building work
* Completing work orders and documenting all maintenance activities accurately
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
* Assisting with special projects and other duties as required
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a maintenance builder, preferably in the trades and services industry
* Strong practical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of maintenance issues
* Good communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with clients
* Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and complete work to a high standard
* A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
* Basic qualifications in areas such as welding or carpentry would be highly advantageous
