We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
* Demonstrated experience in providing a safe, caring, non-judgmental and supportive environment for children, families, and staff.
* Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated ability in Behaviour Guidance.
* Demonstrated ability to plan and implement the full ‘cycle of planning’ that incorporates an educational child centred program, reflective of the Early Years Learning Framework and a willingness to learn conceptual framework.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain written records, such as observations, evaluations, and programs.
* Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, relevant Government Acts and regulations, and the ECA Code of Ethics and the rights of the child.
* Open to Professional development and training to learn the Billy Button way.
* Demonstrated experience in leading a small team
* Demonstrated ability in leadership
Qualifications and education requirements
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or higher)
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Current Driver’s License
* Current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
* Current CPR certificate
* Current Child Protection Certificate
* Current National Police Check
