About the opportunity
Reporting to a Senior Philanthropy Manager and working collaboratively with your colleagues across philanthropy, fundraising and brand; you'll be responsible for building and sustaining a long‐term legacy pipeline.
This role blends donor stewardship, program management and marketing to create and expand a pipeline of bequest commitments (gifts in wills).
You will build deep, trusted relationships over time; delivering an exceptional supporter experience that strengthens connection to the organisation and honours legacy gifts.
Key performance requirements
* Develop and implement a gift in wills strategy and annual plan
* Secure future philanthropic commitments through bequests and planned giving
* Deliver personalised and compassionate stewardship experiences
* Collaborate with colleagues to create content, campaigns and materials for:
* Donor recognition
* Legacy storytelling
* Raising awareness of gifts in wills as a giving channel
* Accurate forecasting, transparent reporting and disciplined management of the legacy pipeline
* Engage supporters about their legacy intentions with compassion, discretion and influence
* Build strong networks with estate planners, solicitors and financial advisors to support donor decision making
* Represent the organisation at community events, as required.
