Experienced Service Technician – Product Support (Mr Goodair Brand)
Industrial Air is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Service Technician to take a lead role within our Product Support Service Department, working under the Mr Goodair brand.
This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled technician who is looking to step into a leadership position, expand their technical knowledge across a wide range of HVAC equipment, and grow their career with a well-established and expanding company.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for commissioning, fault finding, warranty support, and providing guidance and support to apprentices and technicians within the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Panasonic VRF commissioning and advanced fault finding
* Air Change commissioning and fault finding
* Heat pump and chiller commissioning
* Warranty servicing and maintenance support
* Fault finding and repairs across a wide range of HVAC brands and equipment
* Apprentice mentoring, training, and ongoing technical support
* Providing technical advice and product support within the department
About the Role
This role offers exposure to a broad variety of HVAC products and equipment, providing the successful applicant with in-depth product knowledge and experience across multiple areas of the HVAC industry.
Ongoing internal training will be provided, including factory and product-specific training, ensuring continuous development of skills and technical knowledge.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Commissioning experience (VRF/heat pumps/chillers highly regarded)
* Ability to work autonomously and lead by example
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* A commitment to mentoring apprentices and supporting team development
