Operating within a niche but growing market, the business works closely with utilities and engineering teams, positioning itself at the forefront of digitalisation and energy transformation. About the Role This role will see you leading business development activities across electrical network infrastructure, with a strong focus on supporting the modernisation and digitalisation of critical energy assets. Working closely with engineering teams and technical stakeholders, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing relationships within utilities and infrastructure organisations, and positioning highly technical solutions in a consultative and credible manner. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Identifying and developing new business opportunities across utilities, infrastructure and energy sectors Building and maintaining relationships with technical stakeholders, including engineers and project teams Promoting advanced products and solutions aligned to network optimisation and digital transformation Working closely with internal engineering teams to develop technically sound proposals Managing the full sales lifecycle including opportunity development, tendering and contract negotiation Representing the business at industry events, conferences and technical forums Providing market insights and contributing to strategic growth initiatives About You Proven experience in business development within electrical, energy, automation or engineering environments Strong understanding of power systems or electrical infrastructure Ability to engage credibly with engineers and technical stakeholders Experience selling technical or engineered solutions in a consultative manner Exposure to utilities, infrastructure or grid-connected environments will be highly regarded Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex sales cycles Self-driven with a proactive and relationship-focused approach Benefits Opportunity to work within a highly specialised and technical niche Exposure to advanced, globally recognised technology Strong alignment with future-focused energy and infrastructure projects Autonomy to shape growth across a developing market Collaborative environment working alongside engineering and technical specialists If this opportunity aligns with your experience, please apply now or reach out to Laila Hoy at ASR Recruitment on lh@asr.com.au for a confidential discussion.
