Overview
We're hiring a Multi-Skilled Roof Plumber / Carpenter — not someone who only does gutters. At Odeion, we build high-quality renovations, extensions and additions in Perth with an in-house crew, tight systems, and a clean, professional culture. We want a senior trade who can own roof plumbing standards and also step into our carpentry crew to keep Phase 2 moving.

The Role
* Core trade: Roof Plumbing (done properly)
o Gutters, downpipes, flashings, penetrations, rainheads, overflow provisions
o Renovation tie-ins and tricky existing conditions
o Leak prevention through correct detailing (not band-aids)
o Keeping the building envelope watertight so the build keeps moving
o Re-roofs and also the learning roof tiling with the team
* Multi-skilled pathway (expected, not optional)
o Framing carpentry support (wall/roof frame support, bracing, backing, prep for roof cover, envelope readiness)
o Timber framing + structural carpentry assistance (where required on renovations)
o Double-glazed window installation (quality install + sealing/detailing)
o Timber door frame installation (plumb/square, reveals, fit and finish)
o External envelope finishing (details that stop leaks and stop rework)

What you must have
* Qualified roof plumber (WA) with strong detailing skills (renovations preferred)
* Carpentry experience that's genuinely useful on site (not "I've swung a hammer")
* Pride in straight lines, correct flashings, tidy finishes, and clean sites
* Ability to lead by example and keep standards high
* Willingness to keep learning and become genuinely multi-skilled
Pay
$115,000 – $145,000 + super + vehicle/allowance (depending on capability)
Pathway to a $160,000+ package within 12–18 months for the right person, based on proven:
* Roof plumbing detailing quality (renovations)
* Carpentry contribution in Phase 2 (framing support + backing + envelope readiness)
* Consistent double-glazed window installs + sealing/detailing
* Timber door frame installs to a high standard
* Leadership: lifting crew output and keeping sites clean/professional
