Sewing, Knitting and Crocheting Volunteers
In this rewarding volunteer role, you will provide companionship to residents in a Residential Aged Care Home. You will engage with them through various activities such as sewing, knitting or crocheting, promoting social interaction and alleviating feelings of loneliness.
The ideal candidate will be able to share their skills and passion for crafting with others, creating a sense of community and belonging. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the lives and experiences of our residents, fostering meaningful connections and friendships.
We are seeking volunteers who are willing to commit to regular visits, either weekly or fortnightly, during daytime hours. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while enhancing your own well-being.
Requirements:
* National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by the organization
* NDIS workers screening
We would be happy to discuss a suitable time for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Sunday.
