Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.
Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ-centred education in partnership with families within a caring Christian community. In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.
We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated School Administration Officer at our Drouin campus, commencing in January 2026 for one day per week during school terms, plus some work during term breaks as required.
The successful candidate will be supporting the Head of Middle School and Middle School staff members in a shared administrative role.
Some key responsibilities will include the following:
- Set a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyle
- Handling enquiries from parents, students and staff members
- Supporting the planning of events and attending events as required
- Maintaining student records, including in relation to attendance
- Undertaking general administrative duties to support Middle School
Having obtained relevant experience in administration, the successful candidate will also possess the following key characteristics:
- Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- High standard of keyboard skills and computer literacy, including MS Word, MS Excel
- Attention to detail with high proof-reading skills and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
