We are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Adelaide-based team. This role involves a mix of projects and services work, focused on automation and electrical engineering solutions across Infrastructure, Water, Manufacturing, and Defence industries.
We are looking for someone with passion and drive who will be responsible for:
* Leading engineering teams, planning and managing project execution, and ensuring compliance with IMS, procedures, and WHS requirements.
* Meeting engineering and project cost targets while contributing to best practice methodologies, systems, and procedures.
* Enhancing client experience by providing timely and effective support across projects and services.
* Supporting the preparation of tenders, quotations, and business development opportunities.
* Mentoring, supporting, and guiding other engineers in the team.
* Always working safely and adhering to relevant Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems.
Ideal Profile:
The successful applicant will have:
* A degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering (or 15+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in a senior/lead role).
* Proven experience in Tunnel Infrastructure Systems and delivering large-scale PMCS or similar packages.
* Strong technical expertise in PLC coding, SCADA design, process improvement, and automation platforms (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Schneider Unity, Aveva System Platform).
* Hands-on project delivery experience across all lifecycle stages, from requirements analysis to FAT and SAT, with strong knowledge of industrial protocols (Profinet, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, IEC
* Excellent programming/coding, computer, documentation, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
* Flexibility to travel regularly for project requirements.
