An exciting opportunity to join the Mars Wrigley team in Sydney Northern Beaches and Central Coast. In this customer facing sales role, you will interact with grocery customers across Coles, Woolworths & Metcash. You will be accountable for driving sales through optimal distribution and physical availability of our brands across prime in-store locations, delivering quality displays and excellent execution in line with Perfect Store ambitions, and building influential relationships with key stakeholders to deliver incremental business and category growth.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Deliver NSV growth and key KPIs within your territory, ensuring learnings and insights are leveraged for future planning.
- Drive growth, customer engagement and a perfect store picture of success through:
- Develop strong and influential relationships with key customers.
- Drive optimal points of distribution and physical availability of Mars brands.
- Achieve excellent execution and high-quality displays across all locations in line with picture of success objectives.
- Negotiate and implement incremental permanent and temporary locations using stock control and supply chain procedures.
- Build understanding of Category and Shopper principles and apply this knowledge in customer interactions.
- Provide clear direction to merchandising representatives to execute all customer activations.
- Analyse and interpret KPI data to identify opportunities in store and leverage these to drive incremental sales growth.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in sales or analytical roles is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong, influential relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness, selling and negotiation skills with a drive for results and passion for sales.
- Proven track record of creative problem solving and delivering results.
- Comfortable in a KPI-driven environment with the ability to address gaps and build growth plans.
- Driven, self-reliant and resilient; able to adapt to a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to prioritise, resolve competing demands and determine the sequence of activities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data from sources (Power BI, Excel) to translate insights into territory strategies.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently towards a team goal and owning results in a remote setting.

Travel requirements
- Work remotely and travel to visit customers within your assigned territory.
- Territory does not require regular overnight stays; occasional travel outside the territory may be required for meetings.
- Requires a valid Full Driver’s License.
