Full-Time Position – Broome Based
As we continue to expand our Broome operations, Pinnacle Travel Group proudly operates Kimberley Quest, The Great Escape Charter Co and Australian Pinnacle Tours, long-standing tourism businesses specialising in immersive Kimberley experiences.
Our award-winning vessels, Kimberley Quest II and The Great Escape, operate seasonally from February through December, exploring the remote Kimberley coastline. In addition, our land-based touring operations deliver exceptional day tours throughout the region.
We are seeking a motivated and hands‐on Operations/Yard Coordinator to join our small, dynamic Broome team. This role primarily supports the land‐based operations of our vessels while also assisting our coach touring division.
This is a key operational position, integral to the smooth day‐to‐day running of the business. It will suit someone who is organised, mechanically minded, adaptable, and eager to contribute across multiple areas of a unique marine tourism environment.
About the Role
Based primarily in our Broome yard, you will take ownership of yard coordination, logistics, equipment readiness, and operational support. Due to the seasonal and dynamic nature of the marine tourism industry, you may occasionally assist with broader cruise operations when required.
This is a varied and rewarding role offering exposure to vessel logistics, tourism operations, fleet management, and guest services with genuine opportunity for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
* General maintenance and upkeep of yard and storage areas
* Cleaning and maintenance of company vehicles, trailers and shore‐based equipment
* Basic mechanical servicing of outboards, trailers and related equipment
* Managing weekly deck store stocktakes
* Coordinating contractors for vessel changeover days
* Ensuring all equipment and vehicles are prepared and operational for changeovers
* Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries
* Responding to customer and contractor enquiries (in person and via phone)
* Assisting guests with vehicle, caravan and camper storage procedures
* Liaising with the Vessel Master and General Manager as required
* Overall coordination and management of the Broome yard
Skills & Experience
* Professional, friendly and confident communication style
* Tourism, marine or logistics experience (preferred)
* General mechanical knowledge (basic to intermediate)
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
* Strong team mindset and willingness to support operations as required
* National Police Certificate

Broome, Western Australia
Employment Conditions
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (hours may vary depending on vessel schedules)
Flexibility required due to operational demands
Full‐time preferred (casual may be considered for the right candidate)
