Spicy Bite Edge Hill is looking for a skilled and dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to join the team in Edge Hill, Queensland. Restaurant Supervisor | Spicy Bite Edge Hill – Edge Hill, QLD Key responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth, efficient and professional service always and supervise, support and coordinate front-of-house staff during service periods
* Prepare and monitor staff rosters to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained and monitor employee performance, provide guidance where required, and resolve workplace concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Work closely with kitchen staff and management to coordinate service activities across different areas of the business
* Welcome customers, manage reservations, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure guests receive attentive service and respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, requests, complaints and feedback
* Maintain high customer service standards and ensure all guests are served in a courteous and efficient manner
* Promote the restaurant’s menu items, house specials, takeaway services and other available offerings to customers where appropriate
* Monitor stock levels for restaurant supplies, beverages, packaging and front-of-house items, and arrange reordering as needed and assist with stock control measures to reduce waste and support efficient restaurant operations
* Ensure menu displays, service areas, promotional materials and daily specials are presented neatly and attractively
* Oversee the cleanliness and presentation of dining areas, service stations, equipment, glassware and related work areas also coordinate cleaning duties to ensure the venue maintains excellent hygiene and presentation standards
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies, food safety standards and internal procedures
* Arrange repairs, maintenance or servicing for restaurant equipment and facilities when necessary
* Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, staff, suppliers and management
* Support business growth by identifying opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction
* Carry out other associated operational and administrative duties as reasonably required by the employer
Position: Full-time | Hours: 38 hours per week Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per annum Skills and experience required
* At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar role
* AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV
