Saunders International is looking for a talented Project Engineer with experience of working on Tank projects to join our team and play a vital role in delivering critical mining and industrial construction projects. Your Impact
As Project Engineer youll be the technical backbone of our projects working alongside the Project Manager to ensure seamless execution from planning through to completion. Youll coordinate materials manage subcontractors solve technical challenges and maintain quality standards that keep our projects running safely and efficiently.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Lead technical coordination and site administration for construction projects
* Manage procurement of materials equipment and subcontractor services
* Provide technical support to site teams and clients resolving drawing and engineering issues
* Complete ITPs weld maps and quality documentation
* Conduct safety observations and audits ensuring compliance with all OHS&E procedures
* Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work aligns with safety and quality plans
* Prepare weekly reports productivity tracking and schedule updates
* Maintain comprehensive site diaries and accurate project records
* Support Construction Supervisors with technical scheduling and safety problem-solving
What Were Looking For
Essential
* Tertiary or trade qualification in engineering discipline
* Construction White Card / Blue Card
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Leadership capability with enthusiasm for continuous improvement
* Innovative approach to technical and commercial challenges
Highly Valued
* Construction project experience
* Background working with civil construction contractors
