Job Description

Our client is a prominent Design & Construct Fit Out Business with an annual turnover of $200m. We are seeking two Contract Administrators to join their team.

* The ideal candidate will have experience in the Fit Out sector as a CA or 3 years + and be willing to take on project management responsibilities.
* The salary for this role will be reflective of experience, ranging from $100,000 - $120,000 + Super.

The builder has a strong focus on design and construct luxury Fit Outs and boasts a high repeat business rate.

As a Contract Administrator, you will provide support to Site Managers and Project Managers, working closely with the team to ensure projects are delivered within budget, timeline, and scope.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.
* Thorough knowledge of contracts.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Ability to interpret design documents.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Innovative and flexible problem-solving skills.
* Extensive experience in tender processes and trade procurement.

Others

1. Reporting to the PM, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects within budget, timeline, and scope.
2. Administration of head contract including claims, variations, EOTs, and RFIs.
3. Administration of subcontracts including claim assessment, variations.
4. Preparation of documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliers including tender and pricing schedules, scope of works.
5. Tender analysis and recommendations.
6. Negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
7. Preparation of subcontracts including detailed scope of works.
8. Produce financial information to accurately manage the construction budget.
9. Liaison with site staff and monitoring of site progress.
10. Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager for all facets of the projects.
11. Preparation of quantities and take-off as required.
