**About the Opportunity**
The primary purpose of the Executive Assistant is to manage all office, administrative and executive functions for the Commissioner, Consumer and Business Services. This role will provide confidential administrative support to the Commissioner and Executive, manage workflow, schedules, meetings, and events.
The Executive Assistant will develop effective networks between the Minister's Office, the Office of the Chief Executive and the Attorney General's Department in relation to a range of matters requiring the attention of the Commissioner. Duties such as research and project tasks will be undertaken as delegated by the Commissioner.
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Extensive experience in the role of Executive Assistant to a senior executive.
- Experience in providing administration assistance to board meetings or stakeholder forums, including coordination of travel and events.
- Political astuteness, sensitivity and awareness to Government processes including a sound understanding of the protocols and procedures operating between a Government Department and a Ministerial office.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills that enable effective and appropriate communication with a broad range of people within all levels.
- Project management experience (desirable).

**Special Conditions for Employment**
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
Some out of hours work may be required.
