The Account Manager role acts as the primary point of contact for schools, responsible for driving profitable revenue growth through strong relationships as a trusted advisor. Strong focus on process and execution is paramount in line with strategic planning and enabled through our values.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strengthen and grow profitable revenue within the current customer base while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities to drive sustained success
- Own the customer relationship to effectively manage customer retention, revenue growth from existing customer base and increase new business through customer needs analysis
- Present and demonstrate physical and digital product and services to key stakeholders to highlight the benefits and impact of Campion’s digital offerings, driving awareness, understanding, and adoption across schools
- Continuously gather feedback of digital offerings to refine messaging and improve user experience
- Effective management of the ordering process for Campion products and solutions through collaboration between customer and internal cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivering of Campion solutions aligned to customer needs and company objectives
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks externally in line with internal strategic reporting of sales, forecasting and performance updates
- Build and maintain solid customer relationships as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders managed through the customer matrix and aligned to the customer segmentation model
- Attend and participate in relevant internal meetings, training programs and industry events and conferences
- Proactively manage personal development, embedding Campion’s values and capability framework to elevate performance and professional growth
YOUR SKILL SET
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in account management preferably with an Education, Retail or Technology focus
- Excellent relationship management skills with proficiency in negotiation, effective communication and customer service
- Proven experience in delivering client focused solutions based on customer needs
- Strong business and financial acumen with ability to deliver against budget and strategic objectives
- High degree of flexibility and proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other digital technologies
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) essential
