Business Test Manager – UpperGround by Hudson
We're seeking an experienced Business Test Manager with at least 5 years of experience to lead Business Readiness Testing and User Acceptance Testing of our products. Highly organised with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills will excel in this role.
Location & Work Model
Based in Sydney, Hybrid – 3 days in Macquarie Park Office / WFH.
Contract: 6-month contract with extensions, start ASAP.
Pay
Base pay: $******/daily – $******/daily.
Responsibilities
Participate in Program Increment (PI) sessions, write user stories with estimates for UAT & BRT, and take part in Daily Stand Ups (DSUs), Sprint/Iteration Planning, Review, Refinement, Retro, and Demo sessions.
Liaise with Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, Architects, Vendors, Support groups, and Operational Users throughout test planning, test preparation, test execution, and reporting.
Facilitate UAT with operational users, ensuring functionality meets customer requirements, and schedule and coordinate testing efficiently and cost-effectively.
Facilitate E2E BRT (Business Readiness Testing / Process testing) to ensure end-to-end customer corridor processes are supported within the organisation, scheduling and coordinating testing efficiently.
Ensure documents and deliverables (e.g., test strategy, test plans, test cases, test setup for UAT and BRT, test execution, test reports) are completed on time and uphold quality standards.
Support multiple concurrent initiatives/programs.
Proactively identify and address risks, issues and dependencies related to testing activities; work closely with delivery managers and other stakeholders to mitigate potential impacts.
Conduct peer reviews for test documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Lead defect triage meetings to facilitate quick communication and resolution of critical defects, supporting product launch.
Handle effective escalations and collaborate closely with upstream and downstream stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and maintain alignment throughout the testing process.
Qualifications & Experience
At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Readiness Testing and User Acceptance Testing.

Contract – 6-month term with potential extensions.
Other Details
Casual loading: For all Australian-based contract and temporary roles, the pay rate is inclusive of a mandatory 25% casual loading.
