About the Opportunity
We have exciting opportunities for experienced Duty Managers to join our Operations teams at our Villages located in the Bowen Basin (Nebo, Coppabella, Moranbah, Dysart, and Middlemount), approximately three hours inland from Mackay, QLD.
This position is permanent night shift, responsible for the continual monitoring of all Civeo’s Accommodation and Behavioural policies and procedures. This would be conducted through regularly checking in with departments and facilities (Buildings) throughout the villages, and regular inspections of the village/surroundings.
This position will also be required to respond to emergency situations throughout the village and conduct welfare check at the request of Village Management.
To assist with the Food & Beverage Department, Administration and Village Management with various tasks including auditing, stocktake, conducting welfare checks and administrative duties.

About You
To be successful, you will have:
7. Demonstrated relevant work experience in a management or supervisory level role within the commercial hospitality industry
8. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business or hospitality discipline (desirable)
9. Certificate II in Security Operations (qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not hold this)
10. A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (RMLV preferred)
11. Advanced First Aid certificate (qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not hold this)
12. The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening
13. A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
14. Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
15. Experience in high volume, fast paced work environments
16. Competence to train / assist in staff training
17. Capability to work well under pressure
18. Excellent computer and administrative skills
19. Highly developed financial analysis skills
20. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
21. Experience with accommodation software packages (preferably RMS9)
22. Remote work experience (highly regarded)
23. Current Driver’s Licence (highly regarded)
