Job Title: Master Tradesperson
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Tradesperson to join our team in Warrnambool, Victoria.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring safety while delivering maintenance onsite. Key tasks include setting out and installing hot and cold-water systems, undertaking stormwater and sewer installations, and assembling and installing mechanical services plant and air-handling equipment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Setting out and installing hot and cold-water systems, including associated equipment.
* Undertaking stormwater and sewer installations.
* Assembling and installing mechanical services plant, air handling and conditioning equipment, and small-bore heating systems.
* Installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems.
* Installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems.
* Installing gas appliances, flues, and pressure-regulating devices.
* Fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods, and flashings.
* Penetration and inground service installations.
* Final fit-off and finishing installations with high-quality work.
* Following standard operating procedures, safety procedures, and quality control methods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Trade qualified or 4th year apprentice.
* Sound knowledge of all tasks and activities related to new installations, as well as the Plumbing Code and Australian standards.
* Gas fitting license (preferred but not essential).
* Strong experience in maintenance plumbing or similar roles highly regarded.
* Self-motivated, problem solver, and team player.
* Punctual and reliable, well-organized, tidy, and efficient.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Basic computer literacy.
* Australian residency rights (38 hours/week).
* Q Fever vaccination certificate or willingness to participate in the vaccination process.
