What you'll be doing
* Delivering engaging and educational programs that support the development and learning of children aged 0-5 years
* Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to play and learn
* Building strong relationships with children, families, and the local community
* Documenting children's learning and development and communicating progress with families
* Adhering to all relevant early childhood education and care regulations and Goodstart's policies and procedures
* Actively participating in team meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
* Relevant early childhood education qualification (e.g., Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care)
* Demonstrated experience working in a childcare or early learning environment
* Strong understanding of child development and the ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
* Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Current VIC Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one
