The role An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Road Construction Project Manager to join the team at the Shire of Christmas Island.
Reporting to the Director for Works and Services, you will be responsible as the Project Manager for the Park's East West Base Line Road construction.
Role Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have extensive senior management experience in a similar role, a sound understanding of road construction & maintenance, strong leadership skills, a commitment to safe work practices.
You will also need to have an established ability to coordinate and manage annual works budgets and programs.

The Shire is offering an initial 2-year performance-based contract with a very attractive remuneration package, inclusive of a base salary ranging from $135,451 to $141,728 to be negotiated with the successful applicant, 18% superannuation, 3-bedroom home with subsidised rental, motor vehicle with private use, 5 weeks annual leave, district allowance, professional membership allowance, uniform allowance and reasonable relocation fees.
