Medical Oncology Registrar Job Opportunity

This role offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity for medical professionals to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in an accredited training environment.

As a Medical Oncology Registrar, you will be responsible for providing clinical management of patients, supervising junior staff, and participating in multidisciplinary cancer care. You will work collaboratively with other units treating cancer and participate in relevant multidisciplinary meetings.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to quality improvement and possess excellent communication skills. They will also be skilled at working in a multidisciplinary team environment and adapting to change.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must hold a MBBS or equivalent degree, be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia, and have demonstrated high standards of clinical practice and professional integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Contribute to the provision of clinical management of patients and supervision of junior staff.
* Participate in multidisciplinary cancer care and relevant multidisciplinary meetings.
* Ensure timely provision of discharge summaries, written specialist opinions, and requested medical reports.
* Foster development of community networks appropriate to the Unit's work.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

* MBBS or equivalent degree.
* Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* High standards of clinical practice and professional integrity.
* Strong communication skills and adaptability to change.

* Current National Police Clearance (NPC).
* Working With Children Check (DHS).
