The Opportunity
We are seeking safety and quality conscious Construction Electricians to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 FIFO roster. Flights, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.
In This Role, You Will
* Install cable support systems including cable tray, conduit, catenary, throughout underground environment.
* Install switchgear, junction boxes, MCCs, transformers, VSDs, lighting, and communications equipment.
* Installation and terminations of high voltage, power, communication, instrument and control cables.
* Ensure correct earthing and bonding of electrical systems across all installations.
* Carry out quality checks and basic testing (continuity, insulation resistance) during installation.
About You
* Experience as a fully qualified electrician.
* Able to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner.
* Excellent attitude to safety.
* Underground and/or mining experience will be highly regarded.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
* Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.
* Current Electrical License.
* High‐risk work License (with WP class).
* Working at Heights (completed in the last 16 months).
* Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months).
* Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's License.
* White / Blue Construction Card.
