Our client, a prestigious fortune 500 SaaS company (you've likely have heard of them) is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their HR Operations team on a 12-month contract. This role sits at the intersection of HR advisory, operations, and process improvement - ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex HR cases while driving scalable, efficient ways of working.
You'll partner closely with HRBPs, HR Tech, and regional stakeholders across APJ, playing a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality HR support and improving how HR services are delivered.
The Role
This is a hands-on, operationally focused HR role where you'll:
* Own and resolve complex HR queries across the full employee lifecycle
* Provide clear, confident guidance to managers on policy, processes, and people matters
* Identify trends in HR cases and proactively address root causes
* Drive process improvements, reducing inefficiencies and manual work
* Contribute to automation and system enhancements (Workday, ServiceNow HRSD or similar)
* Develop SOPs, decision trees, and documentation to improve consistency and scalability
* Partner with cross-functional teams on HR projects and operational initiatives
About You
* Proven experience in a Senior HR Generalist / HR Operations / HR Advisory role
* Strong understanding of HR policies, frameworks, and employment legislation
* Comfortable managing complex, judgement-based HR cases independently
* Experience with process improvement, continuous improvement, or operational redesign
* Exposure to HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow HRSD or similar)
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify trends and insights
* Strong stakeholder management skills across regional teams (APJ exposure highly regarded)
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
* Experience within large multinational businesses with SaaS experience being highly desirable
