Asado is a casual Argentinian restaurant in Melbourne's dining scene. You'll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen, with opportunities to develop skills and grow within the team.
Day-to-day responsibilities
 * Supporting the kitchen team with food preparation and production
 * Maintaining quality and consistency across all dishes
 * Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times
 * Assisting in keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and efficient
 * Learning and developing new culinary techniques and skills
 * Working effectively as part of a fast-paced team

Ideal candidate
 * Full working rights – Citizen or PR preferred, otherwise 2+ years left on temporary visa
 * Availability for a minimum of 2 days per week
 * At least 12 months of Cook or Commis Chef experience in a commercial kitchen
 * Qualifications relevant to the role — e.g., Cert IV or III in Commercial Cookery
 * Strong time management and organisational skills
 * Professional and appropriate interpersonal communication
 * Ability to work under pressure and keep up on a section
