Join to apply for the Dietitian Level 3 – Deputy Head of Department – Coastal Network role at Illawarra Mercury. We are Southern Health and South West Local Health District networks seeking a Dietitian Level 3 to lead dietetics services across the SNSW Local Health District.
What You'll Be Doing
The Allied Health Department Head is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, leading the delivery of quality services in dietetics to patients/clients of the SNSW Local Health District in order to meet their health and wellbeing needs.
Selection Criteria
* Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA).
* Demonstrated highly proficient written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated clinical proficiency and ability to lead a clinical team, including provision of supervision, support and training to staff.
* Ability to prioritise and organise the clinical workloads within a team that may span more than one regional site within the Network.
* Experience in developing and optimising a range of clinical services, including protocols and new services.
* Evidence of ongoing personal continuous professional development.
* Demonstrated experience in and commitment to service development, quality improvement and leading the implementation of evidence based practice.
* Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
