About Us

Air Voice Enterprises Pty Ltd, operating as Vodafone Mandurah, is a trusted telecommunications retailer providing premium mobile, data, and device solutions to individuals and businesses. With a strong focus on customer experience, product knowledge, and operational excellence, we are now seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our busy Mandurah store.

Position Overview

The Retail Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Vodafone Mandurah retail store, lead and mentor the sales team, drive performance, and ensure exceptional customer service. The role requires strong leadership, retail expertise, and a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Leadership

* Manage day-to-day retail store operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
* Lead, coach, and supervise a team of sales consultants and assistant managers.
* Ensure compliance with Vodafone's brand guidelines, merchandising standards, and sales protocols.
* Oversee staff scheduling, performance reviews, and daily task allocation.

Sales & Customer Experience

* Drive sales targets, KPIs, and revenue growth for mobile, broadband, and device categories.
* Provide expert advice on Vodafone products, plans, and device solutions.
* Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism and excellent service standards.
* Maintain strong product knowledge across all telecommunications offerings.

Inventory & Compliance

* Manage stock levels, inventory control, and ordering processes.
* Ensure cash handling, reconciliation, and POS operations comply with company policies.
* Oversee store security, procedures, and loss-prevention activities.

Reporting & Business Performance

* Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and performance summaries.
* Analyse customer trends to develop sales strategies and promotional activities.
* Work closely with senior management to implement business improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential:

* Diploma in Management, Business, Retail Management, or a closely related field.
* Minimum 1 years of full-time retail management experience, ideally within:
* Telecommunications retail (preferred)
* Electronics, technology, or high-volume retail environments
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
* Proven experience meeting KPIs, managing sales targets, and driving store performance.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
* Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends, late trading hours, and public holidays.

Highly Regarded:

* Prior experience with Vodafone, Telstra, Optus, or similar telecom products.
* Understanding of CRM systems, POS operations, and retail compliance processes.

Employment Details

Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week)

* Salary Range: $75000 – $85,000 + Superannuation (based on experience)

* Location: Vodafone Mandurah, Western Australia

* Start Date: Immediate or as negotiated
