About the role
Luz Restaurant in Launceston, Tasmania is seeking passionate and experienced Food and Beverage Attendants to join our vibrant team. As a Waitstaff member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and seating customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanour
* Taking food and drink orders accurately and communicating them to the kitchen and bar staff
* Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner
* Maintaining a clean and organised dining area, including clearing and resetting tables
* Providing knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials
* Addressing any customer queries or concerns promptly and courteously
* Assisting with other front-of-house duties as required
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
* Keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
* An upbeat, friendly and professional attitude
* Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail pairing
