The Role
We are seeking a Senior SAP Infrastructure Engineer to provide specialised support across our clients SAP landscape, including SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP EP, and SAP HANA.
This role involves both Business as Usual (BAU) support for the existing Azure-hosted SAP HANA environment and technical leadership for migration, configuration, and ongoing support as the agency transitions to an SAP S/4HANA cloud environment.
The Senior SAP Infrastructure Engineer Will Be Responsible For
* SAP Basis administration.
* Supporting SAP Basis modules, including ECC, BW, Enterprise Portal, and Solution Manager.
* Migration and configuration support for SAP cloud and SAP Cloud Connector.
* Installing, configuring, patching, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting SAP HANA databases.
Skills And Experience Required
* Demonstrated shell scripting and PL/SQL programming skills.
* Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
* Experience in installing, configuring, and patching SAP databases.
* Significant SAP Basis/HANA database technical expertise.
* Experience in performance monitoring.
The position can be based anywhere in Australia, with the requirement to visit Canberra as needed to fulfil team and organisational obligations. Due to the nature of the work, there is a regular requirement to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends.
