Hydraulic Engineer
The client is a National Tier 1 Building Services Contractor, looking to identify an Intermediate or Senior level Hydraulic Engineer (Plumbing Design) to work on a range of projects including Health, Commercial Buildings, Aged-Care, Residential and Industrial.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plumbing systems for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial projects.
- Perform hydraulic calculations to ensure proper water supply, drainage, and wastewater management.
- Select appropriate materials, fixtures, and piping systems based on project specifications and codes.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international plumbing codes and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to integrate plumbing systems into building designs.
- Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify installation accuracy and performance.
- Troubleshoot and optimize plumbing systems for efficiency and sustainability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and regulatory changes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Engineering (or equivalent).
- Professional Engineering (P.Eng) certification is an asset.
- Experience in plumbing system design, hydraulic analysis, and pipe sizing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes (e.g., IPC, NPC, ASHRAE standards).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
