Electrical and Mechanical Systems Technician
We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Systems Technician to join our team. This permanent full-time role involves working on diverse electrical and mechanical systems across Australia.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude or trade/technical skills, with experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron), robotics, servo drives, conveyors, and pneumatics.
This role plays a vital part in delivering technical support for automated equipment. As an Electrical and Mechanical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting faults, and commissioning new machinery.
You will work closely with engineers and suppliers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of equipment. Additionally, you will deliver training to customer personnel on safe and effective equipment operation, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria) – mandatory
* 5+ years' experience in field service, maintenance, or installation within manufacturing, packaging, or automation
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnosing issues
* Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and basic network/device troubleshooting
* Strong communication skills and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

Key Responsibilities
