Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Managing monthly financial submissions, including BAS and payroll tax
* Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
* Processing fortnightly payroll and assisting with payroll tax provisions
* Handling daily sales, cash flow, and bank reconciliations
* Assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting
* SUPPORTING external auditors with work papers
* Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance
* Performing ad hoc financial duties as required
Requirements
* 4+ years of accounting experience, with payroll experience for a workforce of 50+ people
* Strong financial accounting knowledge and attention to detail
* Proficiency in MYOB and MS Office, including advanced Excel skills
* Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications
