The Opportunity
As a Human Resource Support Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (NFAEP), a vital initiative within Biosecurity Queensland. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact by providing expert HR advice, supporting workforce initiatives and ensuring HR activities align with policies and business objectives. You'll work in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment, contributing to a program that protects Queensland's environment, economy and communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide accurate and timely HR advice on procedures and emerging practices, including Employee and Industrial Relations, to support the NFAEP team.
* Prepare and manage HR reports and documentation to support informed decision-making and operational success.
* Actively contribute to recruitment and retention initiatives to ensure the program has the skilled workforce it needs to thrive.

We're seeking someone who is passionate about human resources and thrives on making a difference. You'll bring a strong understanding of contemporary HR practices and a proactive approach to delivering results. While experience with Aurion Employee Self‐Service, Aurion Fusion (HR Information System) and Springboard is highly regarded, we value your ability to learn, adapt and contribute to innovative solutions.

Eligibility Requirements
