Key Responsibilities
Safety First Approach: Your experience will be shown through your professional approach to a safe workplace where risk is actively sought out and reduced. Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, wear PPE, and ensure safe working conditions.
Daily tasks: You will be part of a team that operates Australia's First Incinerator Bottom Ash processing facility. You will become familiar technically with the operation of each area of the plant and monitor the physical management of the machinery and recovery of recyclable materials.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: You will be required to follow strict preventive maintenance activities once you have been through a rigorous training plan. Your skills honed from your time in the Waste and Recycling industry will be a solid foundation to assist with the condition monitoring of the plant and the identification of continuous improvement to our systems and processes.
Documentation: Record operational data, log machine issues with a daily pre‑start check and fixed plant pre‑start check.
Team Collaboration: If successful you will become part of an integrated team of like‑mined professionals working collaboratively on Australia's First Incinerator Bottom Ash treatment facility. You will meet and interact in your role with members of our communities within which we work and you will collaborate with your supervisors and managers to deliver a harmonious and transparent workplace.

About us
Our latest facility in Hope Valley, Western Australia, is the first in Australia and the world to bring all Blue Phoenix technology together in one plant. Blue Phoenix will process 100% of the IBA – about 80,000 tonnes per annum – from Acciona, our EfW partner. The plant recovers metal to minus two millimetres and returns the residual aggregates into bound and unbound civil applications. This advanced process seeks to liberate agglomerated slags and metals for further refinement and valorisation. Still, the residual minerals have been recovered significantly to provide a proven aggregate for reuse in the civil construction industry.
