The Opportunity

We are looking for a bright, driven individual with a bendy brain to work and grow across a variety of different clients and work, but who will spend a significant amount of time on one of our biggest and most valued clients, Diageo. Our relationship with Diageo is strategic in nature and spans from consumer research & insights work to brand strategy, portfolio strategy, marketing capability and more. You will be a core member of the team that manages and delivers this relationship.

We are looking for someone who can start as an insightful analyst & manager of research and grow into a client role where you will manage relationships, lead workshops & presentations in client businesses. Along the way, you will be stretched and pushed as much as you are being coached and supported. This means looking beyond the obvious, joining the dots and making connections that will help businesses reframe opportunity.

To succeed in this role, we'll need you to:

- Bring a strong understanding of brands & marketing, with POV on what good looks like (and the confidence to share this with clients)
- Be able to analyse and delve into consumer research to unearth genuine insights as well as understand how clients can take action off the back of them
- Be a confident project manager able to organise and run research projects
- Moderate qualitative research including focus groups, online communities & interviews
- Be excited about working in the alcohol sector (as well as a variety of other clients)

As an example, these are some recent projects that are typical of the type of work we do:

- Running focus groups to build a brand positioning for a new to world brand
- Conducting trends research to inform portfolio planning & strategy
- Decoding coffee culture to better understand the growth of the espresso martini
- Running an ongoing online community with Gen Z consumers to co-create innovations and campaigns that cut-through with young people

As a guide, this role is perfect for someone with 2-3 years' experience in marketing, research, consulting or creative agency, but we especially welcome diverse & surprising backgrounds and will flex the role (including any necessary training) to fit the right person.
