About the role:
Our client is seeking an experienced HR professional to provide proactive, high-quality advice and support on a broad range of human resource matters. You will work closely with the leadership team to drive HR initiatives that support our client's vision and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on complex HR matters, including industrial relations, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and legislative compliance.
- Act as a key advisor on employment instruments such as Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and relevant legislation.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Lead HR projects related to organisational culture, succession planning, and enterprise bargaining.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage employee relations, including handling grievances and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and manage workers' compensation cases.
About You:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role with significant knowledge of contemporary HR management practices.
- Solid understanding of employee relations, industrial awards, and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR cases, including disputes and third-party adjudications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in policy development and project management.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead, coach, and mentor staff.
- Commitment to ethical behaviour and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Located south of Hobart, this role is ideally suited to a candidate living in the surrounding region.
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant discipline with at least three years of experience in a similar role.
- A current driverâs license.
