Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in shaping the department's HR policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide accurate and timely advice on human resources matters;
* Perform research and analysis to inform decision-making;
* Draft high-quality correspondence, procedures, guidance, and policies;
* Contribute to project management and delivery;
* Provide exceptional client services to internal and external stakeholders;
* Identify and implement improvements to HR policy, systems, processes, and other ways of working to enhance outcomes and culture.

The Role: Learning and Development
Use your project management skills to manage high-quality capability development and talent management programs for the department. You will work on capability program design and procurement, liaise with external providers to coordinate the development of tailored programs, and identify opportunities to improve L&D services.
The Role: Work Health Safety
Develop and maintain the department's WHS Management System, HSR network, EAP services, WHS risk management, physical and psychosocial wellbeing programs, investigation of WHS incidents, and secretariat support for the WHS committee.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the APS Level 5 may include:
* Undertaking human resources activities including providing accurate and timely advice;
* Performing research and analysis and using judgement to make decisions;
* Drafting correspondence, procedures, guidance, and policies to a high standard;
* Contributing to the management, delivery, and monitoring of projects;
* Providing high-quality client services to internal and external stakeholders;
* Identifying and implementing improvements to HR policy, systems, processes, and other ways of working to improve outcomes and enhance culture.
