Housekeeping Supervisor | PSC799 – Port Stephens Council
Overview
A great lifestyle in a treasured environment. Our award‑winning Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary seeks an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to guide a team of three, overseeing 40 glamping tents and cabins of various accommodation styles at a 4‑star standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily cleaning standards, allocation of resources, and general administrative tasks to support Sanctuary operations.
* Provide leadership and supervision to the housekeeping team, blending a hands‑on approach with planning, coordination and facilitation of systems, processes, plans and sanctuary activities as a member of the leadership team.
* Maintain a permanent role with a 7‑day rotating roster, working 60–76 hours per fortnight.
Qualifications
* A certificate III in Cleaning, Housekeeping, Holiday Park Operations or equivalent/relevant experience.
* Demonstrated ability in leading and coordinating a small team.
* Extensive experience in the cleaning or accommodation industry.
* A sound knowledge of safe work practices and safety requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary $54,171 to $61,483 per annum (based on 30 hrs/week) plus 12% superannuation, adverse work allowance and $1,945 retention allowance.
