The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our Property Capex & Portfolio Management Team. This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle of capital works, refurbishment programs, and asset management strategies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage capital works projects, aligning with business objectives and resident needs.
* Oversee project execution from planning and tendering through to completion and handover.
* Develop project scopes, schedules, cost estimates, and budgets.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and Keyton's asset management strategies.
* Manage contractors and ensure that quality, timeframes and budgets are adhered to
* Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.
* Liaise regularly with stakeholders such as village teams and residents to communicate project updates and changes
* Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and risk management strategies.
* Conduct project safety reviews and audits alongside EHS team
* Provide accurate cost and variations tracking and forecasting for capital expenditure.
Your Background:
* Tertiary qualifications and/or minimum of 5 years+ experience in residential project management - ideally with a focus on capital works
* Demonstrated experience managing and supervising contractors for refurbishment and maintenance projects.
* Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
* Knowledge of EHS and sustainability considerations in asset management.
* Experience engaging and managing stakeholders in operational asset environments.
* Experience reporting and presenting to variety of stakeholders
* Valid drivers licence and own transport
* Excellent communication skills and effortless rapport building
