**About the role**
**Key Accountabilities**
- Analyze security monitoring data and implement measures to protect enterprise assets and users.
- Manage vulnerability and patching processes according to risk policies.
- Respond to security threats and alerts, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Conduct security operations such as firewall assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats and practices.
- Assist in process improvement, policy review, and stakeholder coordination.
- Support vulnerability audits, penetration tests, and related security activities.
**Skills and Expertise**
- Experience with SAST, DAST, and penetration testing tools.
- Knowledge of Secure DevOps frameworks and CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, and AWS security technologies.
- Familiar with network protocols (TCP/IP), routing (BGP, OSPF), and SWAN troubleshooting.
- Experience with NextGen Firewalls (Palo
Alto), VPN technologies, and Aruba ClearPass.
- Proficient in Microsoft, UNIX, and Linux OS, with the ability to automate log analysis using scripting languages.
**Key Selection Criteria**
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Degree in IT/Computer Science or relevant certifications (CISSP, SSCP, GIAC, CEH, OSCP) preferred.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Visio for design and concept articulation.
- Experience engaging stakeholders across cross-functional teams to deliver strategic - initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-cultural teams and understand cultural differences.
