Store Leader — Marr-Kett | Byron Bay
Marr-Kett is seeking an experienced, sales-focused and motivated Store Leader to join our much-loved bespoke fashion and homewares boutique in Byron Bay.
This role is ideal for a hands-on retail leader who leads from the floor — someone who is exceptional with clients, confident driving sales, and passionate about motivating a team.
You will be well supported by our Area Manager and Director, with thorough onboarding and training provided. Marr-Kett is a rapidly expanding business, with additional stores opening, offering genuine growth and development opportunities for the right candidate.
About the Role
As Store Leader, you will:
* Deliver an exceptional, personalised customer experience, offering confident styling advice and product knowledge
* Lead by example on the sales floor, driving conversion and building client relationships
* Maintain impeccable store presentation and support visual merchandising standards
* Support stock management, reporting and day-to-day store operations
* Motivate, guide and support the team to achieve individual and store targets
* Take initiative in training, coaching and developing team members
What We're Looking For
* A proven retail manager who is comfortable leading a team in a busy, sales-driven environment
* A strong sales performer who understands client engagement, conversion and KPI delivery
* Demonstrated experience managing 4+ staff, including rostering, training and performance management
* A strong eye for visual merchandising and brand presentation
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* A polished presence and genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
* Confidence using retail POS systems, inventory management and basic reporting
(training provided on our systems)
* Flexibility to work weekends and peak trade periods (December/January)
* Current driver's licence and own vehicle
* Minimum 2–3 years retail experience, with at least 2 years in a management role
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
