About The Role
As a teacher (VCE and VCE VM), your key responsibilities include:
Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learnersEnsure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirementsEstablish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learningAdapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resourcesUndertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taughtAssist in relation to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programsMaintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment
About You
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualifications Required For The Role
Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)Approved tertiary qualification in Education with a major in a VCE / VCE VM related discipline orProfessional qualifications relevant to delivery of VCE /VCE VM core strands of study A record of VCE /VCE VM Competency, mapped to VCE VM Core Units engaged to deliverA record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current VCE /VCE VM (VCAL) teaching knowledge
