Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to take the next step in your career? A unique and rewarding leadership opportunity is now available to join our dedicated Home-Based Services team as the Hospital in the Home (HITH) Team Leader. This role provides the ideal platform to develop and consolidate your leadership skills in a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking environment.
The position: Ongoing, Part-Time 48.0 hours per fortnight
Hospital in the Home (HITH) provides patient care in the home that would otherwise need to be delivered within a hospital. HITH patients are classified as admitted and the program enables them to receive high quality medical, nursing and allied health care in their own place of residence.
The HITH Team Leader (HTL) will provide oversight of the daily operations of the HITH team including shift planning, intake processes, escalation processes, staff orientation and well-being. The HTL is responsible for day-to-day service structure and the overall coordination of patients and service delivery from the HITH program. The HTL will assess, co-ordinate and manage HITH patient admissions to achieve agreed performance indicators and the goals of the unit.

Key criteria required:
* Division 1 Registered Nurse with advanced assessment skills.
* Post-graduate qualification or previous experience in Leadership/Management role.
* 3+ years' acute clinical experience working in HITH program or Home-Based Nursing Service.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with a wide range of individuals, including co-workers, clients/patients and other health professionals.
