Overview
This role is ideal for an experienced audio engineer with a deep understanding of Ableton 12, audio interfaces, and music production workflows. You will provide hands-on mentorship to guide a user through the setup and troubleshooting of a Personus 1824c audio interface with Ableton 12, ensuring seamless audio input recognition. The mentorship will also cover related topics such as Melodyne integration and synthesizer design, tailored to a personal music project. The position requires on-site support in Heidelberg Heights, Australia, for a focused, short-term engagement.
Responsibilities
* Guide the setup and configuration of the Personus 1824c audio interface with Ableton 12
* Troubleshoot and resolve audio input recognition issues within Ableton
* Provide step-by-step mentorship on integrating Melodyne and synthesizer design techniques
* Offer clear explanations and practical demonstrations to enhance understanding
* Ensure all equipment and software are functioning optimally for the project's needs
* Deliver mentorship in person at the specified location
Skills And Requirements
* Extensive experience with Ableton 12 and audio interface setup, particularly Personus devices
* Proficiency in Melodyne and synthesizer design within a digital audio workstation environment
* Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software audio issues
* Excellent communication and teaching abilities, with a patient and supportive approach
