Job Title: Senior Medical Officer/GP Emergency Medicine Holiday Rates
Location: Orana Region, NSW, 432 km northwest of Sydney
This is a rural town rich in agriculture with an approximate population of 2,417 residents. The acute care section can accommodate up to 12 inpatients at any given time.
The hospital has beds designated for palliative care and two renal chairs for haemodialysis care. The emergency department operates 24/7 and is attended by visiting medical officers and experienced registered nurses.
The residential aged care unit has 18 high-level beds and one respite bed.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide quality medical services as a senior medical officer in general practice
* To work closely with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care
* To contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies
Shifts and Remuneration:
* 12/01/26 – 19/01/26: $2,500
* 19/01/26 – 26/01/26: $2,600
* 26/01/26 – 02/02/26: $2,500
* 09/02/26 – 16/02/26: $2,000
* 16/02/26 – 23/02/26: $2,000
* 23/02/26 – 02/03/26: $2,000
* 09/03/26 – 16/03/26: $2,000
* 16/03/26 – 23/03/26: $2,000
* 23/03/26 – 30/03/26: $2,000
