You will need to be aware of HACCP (hazard analysis critical control point), also be required to carry out vehicle pre-start checks, pick up donations from suppliers which requires you driving to their loading dock and liaising and building a rapport with the donors. There will be lifting and bending to load and unload the donations, securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as well as maneuvering in and out of the truck on uneven surfaces. At times you will be required to refuel the truck and support with stock control.
