Construction Engineer - 12 Month Contract
Location: Tamworth, NSW
Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced engineer who is self‐starting, capable of communicating clearly with staff across the organisation in oral and written forms, and has a proven record of delivering projects on time and within approved budgets. Knowledge of IMS systems would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Planning and Management from conception to delivery for a wide range of engineering projects.
* Quality Control and WH&S within an accredited Integrated Management System.
* Investigation, Design & Pre‐construction Activities.
* Engineering Survey and Set‐out for Construction.
* Management and leadership of technical and operational staff on a project basis driven by continual improvement.
* Preparation and administration of a variety of tenders and contracts.
* Maintaining and monitoring a safe workplace.
* Preparation and control of capital works budgets.
Requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications acceptable for membership to the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
* WHS General Induction for Construction Work White Card.
* Prepare Workzone Traffic Management Plans.
* Driver Licence Minimum Class C.
* Understanding of Integrated Management Systems and ISO certification.
* Eligible for Membership of the Institute of Engineers, Australia.

Salary & Benefits
Salary range: Grade 16 – 19 – $90,795.93 – $117,673.11 plus 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance, superannuation and leaseback vehicle for a 35‐hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
